Terms
Last updated 13 September 2026
Lineup is a free way to find live music near you, hear thirty seconds of each act, and keep the shows you want to go to. Using it means agreeing to what follows. It is short because the service is.
What Lineup is
A listing service. The shows come from venues, promoters and ticket sellers, and the previews come from Apple and YouTube. We gather and arrange that, we do not sell tickets, and we are not the promoter, the venue or the box office for anything you see here.
Tickets are between you and the seller
Every ticket link leaves Lineup for someone else’s checkout. Prices, fees, availability, entry requirements, age limits, refunds and cancellations are theirs, under their terms — we take no cut and can neither refund nor reinstate anything. Check the date, the room and the price on the seller’s page before you buy: listings move, and we show what we last read.
What we can and can’t promise
We work hard to keep the calendar right, and we cannot promise it is. Shows get rescheduled, moved, sold out and cancelled, and sometimes a listing is wrong at the source. Lineup is offered as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for a night that didn’t happen the way a listing said it would. Nothing here limits rights you have by law where you live.
Your account and what you make
Signing in takes an email address and nothing else — keep access to it, since anyone who can read your inbox can open your lineup. A shared lineup or a named list is editable by whoever holds its link, which is the point of it: only send one to people you would let edit it. Don’t use Lineup to break the law, to scrape it wholesale, or to put anything abusive into a list name where someone else will read it. We can remove a list or close an account that does.
Changes and endings
Lineup is young and changes often; features come and go, and cities get added. You can stop using it at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to sjfinegold@gmail.com. If we make a change to these terms that actually matters, the date at the top moves and, if you have an account, we’ll say so by email.
Getting hold of us
Lineup is run by Sam Finegold in San Francisco, California. Write to sjfinegold@gmail.com — questions, corrections to a listing, or anything that has gone wrong. There is more about what we keep on the privacy page.
